Awareness of Enemy Resources: Pt. 2 – One important quality in the pursuit of outplay is to keep in mind what cooldowns the enemy has & what they’re capable of at all times – if you can keep what they can do in mind, you have much less to fear about approaching or engaging on an enemy. In the following clip, knowing Lee Sin’s goal to kick me into his teammate allowed me to position then eventually bait him into a death.
Awareness of Enemy Resources: Pt. 3 – Skill-reliant abilities are much more exploitable than circle-shot, point & click abilities (like Lee Sin’s Kick) as there is a greater room for error. Understanding the nature of an ability helps foster confidence in determining the ways one can exploit the weaknesses of these abilities (which is why it’s so important to try different champions). In this clip, understanding how Ornn’s Ram Ult functions allowed me to exploit a moment of weakness he has after casting (RIP @GGC | Dragfur2017 ‘s ult at the beginning of the clip. Thoughts & Prayers).
